Nora M. Pinkman, 91, formerly of Stetson Ave., Plattsburgh passed away Friday December 28, 2018 at the Clinton County Nursing Home. She was born in Peaseleeville, NY on January 23, 1927 the daughter of Philip and Jennie (Brousseau) Bedard. Nora graduated from, Sailaz Academy in Redford, NY and the Loretta Business School in Plattsburgh, NY. Nora married Earl O. Pinkman at St. Matthews Church in Black Brook, NY. She was the bookkeeper at Liberty’s Garage in Peru for forty years. Nora enjoyed bowling and playing golf. She devoted her life taking care of family, her work and was a devout parishioner of St. Peter’s Church, Plattsburgh.
Nora was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her four children; Michael, Gerald and Stephen Pinkman, a daughter Susan Zsido, her siblings; Lawrence, Edmund and Stephen Bedard, Alice Treager, Euna Liberty and a brother-in-law Melvin “Bob” Bruno.
She is survived by her siblings; Theresa Bruno, Ernest (Linda) Bedard, Ellen Coates, Jennie (Andy) Tomasi, Sally Gibson, Judy Bedard, Phyllis (Robert) Owens, Philip (Linda) Bedard, Roy “Chuck” (Laura) Bedard, a son-in-law James Zsido, brothers-in-law; John Liberty, John Traeger and a sister-in-law Carol Whisher, numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday January 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church, 114 Cornelia Street, Plattsburgh.
A reception will follow in the Emmaus Room at St. Peter’s Church.
Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Church.
