Patricia A. Coulombe

Patricia A. Coulombe, 80, of Michaele Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the UVM Health Network-CVPH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 9, 1944, in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Isaac and Alma Gray. Pat was a graduate of Chazy Central Rural School and later settled in Plattsburgh, where her compassionate heart led her to foster more than 50 children before adopting her beloved sons, Jacob and Joseph. An avid crafter, Pat owned a craft store, which became a cherished gathering place for many in the community. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter Jodie and granddaughter Piper, as well as exploring thrift stores and watching true crime and home renovation shows. In her younger years, she loved traveling with her best friend, Sharon. Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Ernest Coulombe; her sons, Jacob Coulombe and Joseph Coulombe; her daughter, Jodie LaPier, and son-in-law, Terry LaPier Jr.; and her grandchildren, Justin Coulombe and Piper LaPier. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Gray, and her nieces, Brandy Gray and Casey Gray. She was predeceased by her parents, Isaac and Alma Gray, and her dear friends, Sharon Nelson and Alice Johnson. Pat's legacy of kindness, creativity, and love for her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services. Instead, a small family gathering will be held to honor her memory, sharing cherished stories while listening to 1950s music and her favorite song, Spirit in the Sky.
