Patricia L Currier

Mrs. Patricia L. Currier, 81, of Acworth Georgia, formerly of Plattsburgh, NY, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Serenity Hospice after a brief illness. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on July 19, 1932, the daughter of Edward Allen and Geraldine Bremser and her beloved step father Guy Bremser. She married her husband Charles R. Currier in Plattsburgh on December 31, 1951. Pat worked in the Plattsburgh area for many years in the health care field. Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Currier; her parents; and two brothers Robert Allen and William Allen; one sister Geraldine Boissey. Patricia is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Serge Lavigne of Acworth, Georgia; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Karen Currier of Beekmantown, NY; a daughter and son-in-law Susan and Robert LeBlanc of Plattsburgh, NY; a son and daughter-in-law Michael and Kimberly Currier of Peru, NY and a son and daughter-in-law William and Lynn Currier of Pery, NY. She is survived by eleven grandchildren; Nicole Bemister and husband, Bob; Rene McClelland and husband, Ben; Roxanne Davis and husband Dan; Katie Currier, Ross Currier, Kasey Koch and husband Colter; Kelsey Currier and her fiancé Logan LaForest, Kailie Currier; Josh Currier, Tanner Currier and Alec Currier; six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Edith "Tilly" Niesh and husband Robin of Binghamton; three brothers-in-law Richard Currier, Harry Wilken and Eugene Boissey, several nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
