Patricia A Folsom

d. July 6, 2023

Patricia Ann (Loughlin) Folsom passed away peacefully at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh on July 6th, 2023. She was born in Dover NH to Earl and Helen Loughlin growing up in the seacoast area where she became the first female crossing guard and later working at Strafford Farms while attending Dover schools. Beginning her career as a federal employee at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, she transferred to Pease AFB as a data entry clerk for the FB 111 testing. She remained with the Air Force until the base closed in 1990, relocating and continuing her career as a contracting officer at Plattsburgh AFB and with PARC following the base closure.

Pat loved to read and shared this passion with her children. She enjoyed painting, knitting and other crafts throughout her life. Pat loved to watch every activity her children and grandchildren participated in. An avid sports fan, she cheered for all New England teams but her greatest love was football, faithfully watching Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Patriots. Pat was a caring person that always had an open door for friends, family or animal that needed a place to stay or call home. She was a generous, loving and forgiving person with an open heart that could not hate or hold a grudge.

Pat loved her family with a passion. She is survived by her husband, Ken Folsom, her children, Beth (Phil), Jill, and Kendra (Neil), her grandchildren Joe, Jennifer, Jason, Brianna and Connor and great grandchildren Jaclyn and Scarlett as well as a sister, Jackie Lamoureux and her many cousins, nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, the family will not be holding services. If you would like to make a donation in her memory, consider Elmore SPCA or the JDRF using this link http://www2.jdrf.org/goto/10thride
