Patricia L Lavarnway

Patricia Lee Hobbs LaVarnway, born on November 23, 1942 in Milton, New Hampshire, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, on her youngest daughter, Barbie’s birthday at the Plattsburgh Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with her daughter (Barbie) by her side.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Dennis LaVarnway, her parents, Maurice Hobbs Sr and Dorothy Hobbs, her brother, Maurice Hobbs Jr. (Tubby), sister Diane Cliché, her son, David E. LaVarnway, a daughter, Debbie and three great grandchildren, Allen Duval Jr., Ava Duval and Joshua Duval Jr.

She was a warm and loving wife, mother and nana. She loved crocheting blankets and working side by side with her husband at the sawmill.

She leaves behind her daughters, Barbie S. LaVarnway from Saranac, Lynn Blanchard from Plattsburgh, and Tammy Devins from Saranac, her brother, George Hobbs from New Hampshire, her sister Sandy Hussy from Rochester, New Hampshire, also eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours. A burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
