Patricia (Rabideau) LaVigne, 75, of Halfmoon NY, formerly of Beekmantown, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on August 8, 1944, daughter of Frederick and Shirley (Light) Rabideau.
She was a homemaker most of her life devoted to family and friends. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, garage sales, and helping others especially family.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Russell, and her brothers- and sisters-in-law Carol (Leon) LaMar, Michael LaVigne, Rodney LaVigne, and Richard LaVigne.
She is survived by her fiancé Richard Case, her children, Bryan (Kevin Tyle) LaVigne and Mary (Dave) Miaski, her grandchildren William and Andrew, her siblings, Ken (Mary) Rabideau and Rick (Chris) Rabideau, her brothers and sisters-in-law Donna (John) LaMar, Gary LaVigne, Becky LaVigne, Cindy LaVigne, Sue LaVigne, Albert (Debbie) LaVigne, Neal (Shelly) LaVigne, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Chazy.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Club, NYOH Community Cancer Foundation, Saratoga Hospice, GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, or a charity of one’s choice.
The family would like to thank Dr. Madhavi Kambam and the NYOH team for their loving care during her long illness. Much appreciation also goes out to Saratoga Hospice for providing compassionate end-of-life care for the whole family.
