Patricia Ann Sommers

Patricia Ann Sommers died March 19, 2012 at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian, FL. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Francis and Naomi (Jones) McGuire. She graduated from Bennett High School, Buffalo, N.Y. and received an Associate degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from the Erie County Community College. She retired from Boulé and Spear Dental Practice in 1995. She had served on the ARC resident committee, volunteered in and served on the Interfaith Food Shelf committee and was a Deacon and choir member at the First Presbyterian Church. Pat enjoyed the outdoors; camping, skiing, gardening, but most of all she cherished her many friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest with a keen and devilish sense of humor. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Francis. She is suvived by her husband John, her brother James McGuire, Celebration, FL, her daughter Wanda Soetaert, Salem, MA, her sons; Larry Anthony, Vancouver, WA and Jeffrey and Kathy Anthony of Plattsburgh, her steps sons; Jeffrey and Joanne Sommers, Colchester, CT, Michael Sommers, San Antonio, TX and Douglas and Cheryl Sommers, Belton, TX. Donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Memorial Fund at First Presbyterian Church, Plattsburgh pr the CVPH Foundation, Treasure Chest Fund.
