Patrick was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY. As a young man he spent time with the merchant marines, working on ship in the kitchen. He then spent the rest of his career as a cook for the state school in Wassaic, NY. until he retired. Patrick then moved back home to Plattsburgh where he spent much of his time at the Senior Center. He enjoyed all of the activities and community programs there and volunteered himself for anything they may have needed him for including a concession stand called “Pat’s Place” which raised money for the seniors of the North Country.
As for his family, he was always very close with his brothers and sisters. Although he had no children of his own, he was very much loved by his nieces and nephews. To us, he was “Uncle Pat”. To us, Uncle Pat was a fun loving, generous man with a good sense of humor, and a man who genuinely wanted to hear how you were doing. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all who loved him. May he rest in peace with the Lord whom he had faith in.
Memorial donations may be offered to the Clinton County Senior Center.
