Paul A Washburn

Plattsburgh Paul A. Washburn, 44, of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Tuesday March 12, 2013. He was born in Rochester, NY on March 3, 1969, the son of James and Gloria (Woods) Washburn. He was currently employed at Bombardier. Paul enjoyed nothing more than spending a day on the golf course, playing pool, Sunday football or just hanging out with family and friends. He loved to play fetch with his beloved dog Brutus, for which he is now with. Life gave him many challenges but one he never ran from was to help out a friend or even a stranger if he could. He will surely be missed. Paul is survived by his two daughters, Rosalyn Welch and Kaylene Sanders; one granddaughter; Vanessa Nevach-Lynn; his parents James Washburn Sr. and Gloria and George Potts; a Sister and husband Deborah and Terrance Lincourt; a Brother and wife James and Chantal Washburn Jr.; a half-brother Benjamin West; Three step-brothers and families Timothy and Cynthia Potts, Paul and Danielle Potts, William and Crystal Potts; Two nephews Joshua Helm and Christopher Washburn; a niece Racheal Lincourt; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a Brother Kenneth Washburn. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 5:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 5:00pm in the Brown Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Riverside cemetery at a later date.
