Pearl Y Smith

Pearl Y. Smith, 93, of Morrisonville, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with her family by her side. She was born in Keene Valley on April 30, 1923, the daughter of William and Rosa (Jenner) Broe. Pearl was an avid reader. She enjoyed music, singing and attending concerts. She is survived by sister, Dorothea Chase, her nephews; Phillip Clark, William Clark, and her nieces; Rosalie Drinkwine and Ann McCray, Martha (Smith) Hadley, and other nieces and nephews from the Smith Family. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Rollie Smith, her brothers, Edgar, Donald and Rodger Broe. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:00 am in the West Plattsburgh Union Cemetery.
