Philip Z Dukette

Plattsburgh Philip Z. Dukette, 101, of Lake Forest Drive in Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Monday April 23, 2012 at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 12, 1910 the son of Zeb and Matilda (Gratto) Dukette. Philip retired after twenty years as Senior Master Sergeant from the US Air Force, spending time in England, Alaska, Greenland and Turkey. He was awarded for Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Good Conduct Medal W/4 Br. Loops, American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, National Defense Service Medal W/1 BSS, Air Force longevity Service Away Ribbon 4/4 Br OLC, USAF NCO Academy Graduate Ribbon and Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. He was an avid member of the St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville and a lifetime member of American Military Retiree Association. He is predeceased by his wife Bertha (Senecal) Dukette, a sister Irene Marcot and a step daughter Barbara Rohret. Philip is survived by three daughters; Jeanne Owens and her husband Richard of Albany, NY, Arlene Ramsey and her husband Kenneth of Cadyville, NY and Linda Miller and her husband George of Cadyville, NY, two step son's; Robert Hodreman of Plattsburgh and George Hodreman of Canada, Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Alexanders Church in Morrisonville. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
