Morrisonville Phyllis L. Fredenburg, 73, of Rand Hill Road, Morrisonville, NY passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home. She was born on September 27, 1935, the daughter of Maynard and Mary Louise (Smart) Rock. Phyllis was a graduate of Morrisonville High School. She enjoyed square dancing with her late husband, James, and was an avid reader and BINGO player. She also enjoyed traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband James Fredenburg who passed away in 1996 and a brother Wayne Rock who passed away in infancy. Phyllis is survived by five children and their spouses; Jeffrey and Ann Fredenburg of Morrisonville, NY, Michael and Linda Fredenburg of Plattsburgh, NY, Gwen Fredenburg of Maryland, Gayle and Daniel Santa of Plattsburgh, NY, Vickie and Kenneth Kezar of Cadyville, NY, two sisters; Lettie Landberg and her husband Kenneth of Ventura, CA, Nancy Collins and her husband Hank of Morrisonville, NY and a brother Daniel Rock and his wife Shirley of Arizona, thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday April 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
