Phyllis Gregory

Phyllis Marie Gregory, 73 of Gregory Lane in Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 15, 1949, in Malone New York, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Larry) Garsow. Phyllis was a manager and part owner, with her husband Earl F. Gregory Sr (who predeceased her), of the Abenaki Mobile Home Park for over 40 years. Phyllis is survived by her son, Earl F. Gregory Jr. and daughter-in-law Valerie, her grandsons, Robert Gregory, William Gregory, and Aaron Gregory; her siblings and spouses, Theresa Supley, Sister-in-Law Alvelena Benware, Joan Bushey, Joyce and Larry Minckler and Joseph and Debbie Garsow.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Earl Gregory, daughter Tammy Gregory and brother Richard Benware.

Phyllis was an avid game player, she enjoyed playing cards with her family, completing puzzles, and taking trips to the casino. When not working, she also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Aaron, Robert, and William.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at St. Bernard’s Church in Lyon Mountain. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y.
