Phyllis J Parmeter

Plattsburgh Phyllis Parmeter, 84, of Plattsburgh, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Champlain, NY on February 18, 1932 the son of William and Gertrude (Gauthier) Picard. She married Ronald G. Parmeter in Sacred Heart Church in Chazy, NY on January 27, 1956. Phyllis enjoyed taking drives and playing BINGO. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being a mother to her family. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, her four brothers; Cleo, William, Arthur (Doris) Picard, and Elmer, two sisters; Elaine (George) Dewey and Gladys (Harold) Gonya, and a nephew, Corey Picard. She is survived by her husband, their children and their spouses; Marilyn Schwartz and her husband Mark , Ron Parmeter and his wife Darlene, Randy Parmeter and his wife Vickie, William Parmeter and his wife Patti, Robert Parmeter and his companion Arlene Seney, and Jason Parmeter and his wife Jessica, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 17, 2016 at 11:00 am. at St. Mary's Church in Champlain, NY; burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
