Priscilla G Dame

Altona Priscilla G. Dame, 79, of Station Street, Altona, NY passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Burlington Health and Rehab in Burlington, Vermont. She was born in Hardwick, Vermont on September 18, 1931 the daughter of H. Albert and Phyllis (Gadgcome) Pearsons. Priscilla graduated from Hardwick Academy in 1950 and then went on to attend Johnson Teacher's College. She married the love of her life Cellest "Cye" Dame on April 9, 1958 in Altona, NY. Priscilla was a member of the Altona Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, knitting, cards, music and loved to dance. Priscilla was predeceased by her husband. She is survived by two children; Michelle Miller and her husband Lynn of Milton, VT and Lee Dame and his wife Bernadette Durman of Rochester, NY. A funeral service will be held on Sunday October 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A reception will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Altona Town Hall in Altona, NY.
