Chazy- Mr. Ralph W. Dapo, Jr. "Boy" ,59, of Route 9 in Chazy, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Miles City, Montana on November 20, 1952, the son of the late Ralph and Thelma (Thew) Dapo, Sr. Ralph was an auto mechanic for many years and was an avid coffee drinker. He also loved scratch off tickets and was a practical joker. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his companion Rose Covel and five loving daughters; Wendy Campbell and companion Thomas Hendrie , Whanda and Bryan Carbino , Bobbi Jo and Shawn Edwards, Angel Dapo and her companion Ronald LaValley, Jr., Billy Jo Dapo and her companion Andy McDonald, his grandchildren; Austin Dapo, Katelynn Carbino, Shawn Dapo, Dejon Coggins, Naiden Edwards, Shania Coggins, Deziree Coggins, Nevaeh Coggins, SheyLee McDonald, Andrea Dapo, Ally McDonald, a great grandchild; Jaiden Dapo, his siblings; David Dapo (who was also his best friend) and companion Kim Daniels, John Dapo and companion Beverly Goddeau, Archie and Linda Dapo, Albert and Renee Dapo, Danny Dapo and companion Sue, George Dapo, Florence (his gossip partner) and Jimmy Goddeau, Donna and Jack Boland, Betty Bell, Bernice and Charles Miller, Becky Prim and her companion Glen, Thelma Berger, Nanette and Charles Daniels, his lifelong friend, Julie Dapo, and many nieces and nephews. His parents and his step father Robert Rivers, Jr, passed away earlier. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00pm in the Brown Funeral Home chapel. A reception will follow at 466 Spellman Road in Beekmantown. Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to his family.
