Randall “Randy” George Baldwin, age 73, died on Friday March 27, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones in his home in Dannemora, NY, following a long-term illness. Randy was born on October 22, 1946 in Plattsburgh, NY to Roger & Viola (Tyndal) Baldwin of Dannemora, NY. He graduated from Dannemora High School in 1965. He served with the Army in Korea during the Vietnam War. He later joined the Army Reserve Unit 310th Field Hospital in Malone, NY. He was also stationed in the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C during Desert Storm. While in the Reserves, he was an EMT with the Dannemora Fire Department. He retired a Lieutenant after 30 years of service, the majority of which were spent at Clinton Correctional Facility. Randy is predeceased by his parents, Roger & Viola (Tyndal) Baldwin and two brothers, Roger and Robert Baldwin. Randy is survived by his wife, Shirley Baldwin; his brother, Ronald Baldwin; three sons: Robert (partner: Kimberly), Nicholas (partner: Carolyn) and Christopher (partner: Andrea) Baldwin, and four grandchildren: Phillip, Chloe, Maddie and Baby Baldwin (due in August).
