Raymond "Ray" Dahle

Plattsburgh Raymond "Ray" Dahle, 80, of Hardy Road, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Monday December 14, 2009 at his home with his family by his side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 13, 1929 the son of Alfred and Anna (Hegre) Dahle. Ray served in the United States Army, retiring in 1979 after 20 years of service to his country. He then went on to work for the U.S. Customs as an Inspector and Supervisor, retiring in 2003. Ray was a member of the American Legion Post 20 in Plattsburgh and a Member and Past Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and member of the Champlain Sail and Power Sports Club. He was predeceased by his wife Ray is survived by two children; Curtis Dahle and Anna Batchelder and her husband Don of Charlotte, VT. A sister Olaug Kagre of Norway and two brothers, Erik Dahle and his wife Anvor of Norway and Jostein Dahle and his wife Pamela of IL.
