Raymond L Mary Sr

Beekmantown Mr. Raymond L. Mary, Sr., 77, of Durand Road in Beekmantown, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with family by his side. He was born on August 27, 1936, the son of the late Raymond and Lillian (Chamberlain) Mary. Raymond served in the U.S. Army. Later, he was employed as a construction worker for 15 years and was employed by the Beekmantown Highway Department for over 27 years until his retirement. He enjoyed building his own home and home repair projects. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia (Desotell) Mary, three children and their spouses; Virginia and Michael Gleich of Maine, Tina and Kevin Kilkeary of Plattsburgh, Raymond Jr. and Bonnie Mary of Plattsburgh, a sister; Grace Bessette ; four grandchildren; Heather, Katlyn, Jennifer and Kevin, and two great grandchildren Karalyn and Madalyn. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Brown Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be offered to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
