Raymond E. Roberts, 77, of Plattsburgh, NY passed on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Redford on April 24, 1943 the son of Ernest and Eva (Plumadore) Roberts.
Raymond enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1960 then marrying Alice Seymour on May 18, 1962 in St. Augustine's Church in Peru. He was an avid bowler and loved Yankee Baseball.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Alice, and two brothers; Jimmy and Harley, and his brother-in-law, Leon Smart.
He is survived by, a sister Rita Smart of Harkness, a daughter Brenda Roberts-Stevens and her husband Paul of Plattsburgh, two sons; Todd Roberts and his wife Laurie of Plattsburgh and Paul “P.J.” Roberts and his wife Courtney of Cumberland Head, seven grandchildren; Kayla, Brandon, Matthew, Claire, Evelyn, Gillian and Liam, a great grandson Kayden, several nieces and nephews also survive him.
At Raymond’s request there will be no calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Peru, NY.
