Rebecca I. Brown

Rebecca I. Brown, 77, of Plattsburgh , passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the UVHN:CVPH. She was born Sunday, November 17th, 1946, the daughter of James Scroggins and Evelyn Burnette. She married the love her life, Collin Brown on May 1, 1965. Rebecca had a love for her family, crafts, visiting the casino and gardening. She cherished her family gatherings. Rebecca is riding into the sunset with her dream car, a yellow Volkswagen convertible. She is survived by her husband, Collin Brown; children, Michael Brown and his wife, Meghan Young-Brown, Tami Bassett and her husband, Christopher Bassett; grandchildren, Taylor Cowles-Bauman, Parker Brown, Ava Brown and Shane Bassett; great grandchildren, Zayne Bassett and Kellan Bauman; mother, Evelyn Scroggins; siblings, James Scroggins and his wife, Priscilla, David Scroggins, and Cricket Scroggins Terry She is predeceased by her father, James Scroggins; siblings, Don Scroggins, and Stanley Scroggins The family wishes to have no services. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at R5 at CVPH for their attention, understanding and overall care to their dear Rebecca. A thank you to everyone else who came to say their goodbyes. Also to Aunt Cricket,, Aunt Connie, and Uncle Charlie for never leaving mom's side, along with cousin Violet for making sure that dad was well and cared for.
