Rhada L "Nana" Ryan

Plattsburgh Mrs. Rhada L."Nana" Ryan, 82, formerly of Cadyville and most recently Maryland Road, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Monday February 9, 2015 at the UVM Health Network CVPH Campus with her family by her side. She was born in Chateaugay, New York on October 29, 1932 the daughter of Patrick and Stella (Brickey). Rhada was employed as a engineering studies clerk for the New York Telephone Company. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and her "Irish Friends". She enjoyed bowling, archery and bow hunting. Rhada was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and St. James Church, Cadyville. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles T. "Charlie" Ryan, her siblings; Francis Whalen, John Whalen, Lowell Whalen, Hughey Whalen, Monica Marie Whalen and Howard Whalen. Rhada is survived by two sons; Patrick Ryan and his fiancé Michele Bushey of Morrisonville, Shawn Ryan and his wife Sandra of Saranac, four grandchildren Alexander, Sianna, Mitchell and Julia, a sister Margaret Hill of Malone, her former daughter-in-law Pamela Ryan of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews. At Rhada's request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date at a time to be announced at St. James Church, Cadyville, New York. Interment will be at a later date at St. James Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to Cadyville Volunteer Fire Department.
