Richard Lyons

Richard Lyons, 83, died peacefully in his sleep October 16, 2020 at his home in Plattsburgh, NY. Richard was born August 26, 1937 in Malone, NY to Harold and Dorothy Lyons. He worked for many years for the Plattsburgh Housing Authority. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and most of all family gatherings. Richard was also a member of a local barbershop quartet.
Richard was predeceased by his loving wife, Helen Lyons.
Lovingly survived by his children Debra Ashline, Pamela (David) Sayword, Penny (Jeff) Calkins, and Timothy Lyons; his grandchildren David (Samantha) Lyons, Jennifer (Marky) Ashline, Chad Dubrey, Travis Sayward, Dustin (Hannah) Sayward, Tara Sayward, Katie (Mike) Blake, Michelle Calkins, Andrew (Marianne) Witt, and Tabatha (Kenny) Hendrie; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the Plattsburgh Community Mausoleum.
