Richard Ronald Rivers

Ronald Richard Rivers, 66, of Mooers Forks, NY, passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2018 at his home under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on October 18, 1952 the son of Howard and Constance Rivers, Sr.
Ron graduated from Burlington High School in Burlington, VT. After graduation Ron joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country for three years before being honorably discharged. Ron attended Courtland Community College and then Jefferson Community College. Over the years Ron worked as an Executive Chef at various restaurants across the country. He enjoyed listening and playing music in his free time and was even in a band for a short time.
Ron was predeceased by his parents and his brother Howard, Jr.
He is survived by his companion Lori Tennant of Tampa, FL, a daughter Breanna Star of Kansas City, his siblings; Mark Rivers of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Dottie Boop of Mooers Forks, his niece and nephews; Kristin and Paul Rivers and Johnathon Potoczek with his companion Marissa and their daughter Eiley.
At Ron’s request there will be no public calling hours or services.
