Robert E Cantrell

Plattsburgh Mr. Robert E. "Uncle Bob" Cantrell, 60, of Morrison Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York passed away, Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 18, 1950 the son of Roland and Mary Cantrell-Davis. Uncle Bob served in the U. S. Air Force retiring after twenty years of service as a Staff Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, building, repairing computers, playing Farmville and Café World computer games, watching movies, bowling, vehicles especially his jeep. Bob was predeceased by his parents Roland and Mary Cantrell and a sister in infancy. He is survived by his wife of twenty nine years Laura A. (Gittens) Cantrell of Plattsburgh, two sons Chris Cantrell and his wife Jessie and their son Christopher of Plattsburgh, Anthony Cantrell of Plattsburgh, a daughter Nicole Cantrell of Plattsburgh, two sisters; Shirley Mayer, Karen Fransco of both of Chicago, IL, his brothers Michael Cantrell of Chicago, David Davis, Lance Davis and Darrell Davis all of Arkansas, several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Memorial services and full military honors will be held, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army 4804 South Catherine Street, Plattsburgh, New York (518) 561-2951.
