Robert D Harpp

Plattsburgh Robert D. "Bob" Harpp, Sr., 85, of Miranda Drive, Plattsburgh, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2008 at CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Ticonderoga, NY on April 19, 1923, the son of the late Herbert and Hazel (Bevins) Harpp. Bob graduated from Ticonderoga High School. He then went to work at New York Telephone retiring after many years of service. Bob was an accomplished musician and played in many bands including Chet's Four Notes. He is survived by his long time companion Ann St. Germain of Plattsburgh, six children; Kathy Hayes, Judy Sarkovics, Bob Harpp, Rick Harpp, Dan Harpp, Karen Plumadore, twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother, Lester Harpp and his wife Helen of Crown Point, several nieces and nephews. At Bob's request services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Congregational Church Cemetery in Crown Point, New York.
