Robert L. Lajoy

Robert L. LaJoy, 86, of Plattsburgh, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 1st, 1938, the son of Arthur LaJoy and Victoria (LaBounty) LaJoy. He married the love of his life, Louise (Seymour) LaJoy on April 15, 1961 and celebrated 63 years of marriage together before her passing this year. He is survived by his children, Robert LaJoy Jr., Mike LaJoy and his wife Wendy, and Victoria Senecal and her husband Terry, Scotty LaJoy and his wife Andrea, Nicole Comerford and her husband Sean; grandchildren, Jonathon, Jennifer, Robert III, Jerry, Rachel, Jessie, Nathan, Brittney, Zachery, Alexis and Alison; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Louise LaJoy; his parents; his brother Arthur LaJoy and sister Patricia Girard. A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert and his beloved wife, Louise will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter's Church. Inurnment will follow at the parish columbarium.
