Robert L Marchiano Sr

Schuyler Falls Mr. Robert L. Marchiano, Sr., 68, of Ore Bed Road in Schuyler Falls, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. on June 16, 1943, the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Posch) Marchiano. Robert found enjoyment in singing and playing guitar and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved so much and had so many happy times with. He is survived by his loving wife, caregiver and friend Jean Marchiano, his children and their spouses; Dana Poirier and companion Kathy Bishop, Laurie Claflin, Joey and Liz Marchiano, Frank and Michelle Marchiano, Bobby Marchiano, Dawn and Steve Alioto, Travis Marchiano and companion Ashley Gray, a sister; Annie Merrifield, his grandchildren; Misty and Obadiah Smith, Dana Poirier Jr. and companion Heather Seguin, Robert Poirier, James and Todd Bishop, several great grandchildren including a recent arrival and one on the way, and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh.
