Robert G "Bob" Miller

Cadyville Robert G. "Bob" Miller, 74, of Cadyville, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Fletcher Allen Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Cadyville on March 9, 1942, the son of Ernest and Esther (Rock) Miller. Bob loved to be outdoors, camping and fishing. In his free time he often could be found woodworking or tinkering on his car. He was a member of St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. His greatest love was for his wife and son. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances Miller, their son, Jeffery Miller and his wife Ann, his siblings; a Linda Beck and her husband Roy, Ronnie Miller and his wife Bonnie, his sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Bobbie, a special family friend, Leanne "Binky" and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers Francis and Harold Miller. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with military honors. Interment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to a charity of one's choice.
