Robert Shaw

Robert R. Shaw, 76, of Irona Road, Altona, NY, passed away on Sunday September 19, 2021 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Altona on September 11, 1945 the son of William and Dora (Baker) Shaw.
Robert worked at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh in Materials Management retiring after 41 years in 2009.
He was predeceased by his brothers; Floyd, Harold and Donald Shaw, his sisters; Catherine, Delia, Bertha and his beloved dog Belle.
Robert is survived by his wife Susan, two sons; Paul and Matthew Shaw, his grandchildren; Samantha and Roger Shaw, an Aunt Anna Mesick, his sisters; Eleanor Ratta and Mary Page, a sister-in-law Nancy Shaw, his in-laws; Ernest Barcomb, Jr, Diana Shaw, Betty and Smitty Smith, Laurie and Roger Garlock, Tammy Barcomb and her significant other George Burleigh and Dale Barcomb, several nieces, nephews and his dog Annabelle also survive him.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday September 22, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Altona, a funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be at the Town of Ellenburg Mausoleum on Thursday September 23, 2021 at 10:00 am.
