Roger Blake

Roger Blake, 88, of West Chazy, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, on March 2, 1933 the son of Fred and Mildred (Lombard) Blake.
Roger retired as a Corrections Officer after 35 years of service. He was an avid golfer and in his younger years enjoyed bowling and softball. Roger often could be found making maple syrup during sap season. Roger volunteered serving as President of West Chazy Rural Cemetery and commissioner of the West Chazy Volunteer Fire Dept as well was an active member.
He was predeceased by his parents and his wife Betty.
He is survived by a son Brent Blake and his wife Lisa, a daughter Lois Blake, two grandsons, Corby Blake and his wife Tracy and Eli Blake, and one great-granddaughter Lydia, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside prayers will be on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00am at West Chazy Rural Cemetery.
