Roger C Perry

Roger C. Perry, 75, of Rand Hill Road, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home with family by his side. He was born in Redford on October 3, 1943, the son of the late Clifford and Stella (Parrott) Perry.
Roger was a truck driver for Dorn’s Transportation and later for Oneida Motor Freight for many years and later for Clinton County Social Services until his retirement. Roger was also employed at the Leazott Funeral Home in Altona for many years. He enjoyed spending time at hunting camp with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joanne (LeClair) Perry, whom he married July 11, 1964, at St. Alexis Church in Jericho, his children and their spouses; Roger A. and Julie Perry, Michael A. Perry and Ellen Murphy, Steven M. and Michelle Perry, , his siblings and their spouses; Leona and John Conroy, Charles and Judy Perry, his best friend Tom Brown, his sister in law; Patricia Perry , his brother in law; Warren Smith, his grandchildren; Justin Perry and companion Lara Kinne, Corey and Shaun Akin, Kara and Brandon Barber, Shauna and Jared Peryea, Tyler Perry and Ethan Perry, his great grandchildren; Kellen Peryea and Ensley Barber and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, and his siblings; Margaret Hurd, Edward Perry, Richard Perry, Agnes Smith and Frances Perry.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at CVPH.
