Roland A Carter

Roland A. Carter, 56, of Bechard Road in Coopersville, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on November 17, 1963, the son of Chester and Ramona (Edwards) Carter.
Roland served in the U.S. Navy and later was employed by Bombardier for 20 years. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens, Boston Red Sox and New York Giants fan. He was an incredibly loyal man to his family and friends and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Amy (Aubin) Carter, his children and their spouses; Chad and Kara Carter of West Chazy, Genevieve and Lacie Carter-Dufresne of Coopersville, his siblings and their spouses; Cheryl Carter of New Hampshire, Raymond Chester Carter, Linda and Roger Lucia of Altona, his mother in law; Claudette Aubin (Simon Perry), brother in law Scott Aubin (Sarah Smith), sister in law Lauri Dillon (Bob), his grandchildren; triplets Lilliana, Scott and Alivia Carter, several nieces ,nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins, his fur babies Noah, Daisy and Oliver, and grand pups Snickers, Rylee and Bexley..
He was predeceased by his mother Ramona Carter, a brother Scott Kevin Carter, and his father in law William Aubin.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1:30 pm at St. Peter’s Church. Memorial donations may be offered to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or Hospice of the North Country.
