Ronald L Drollette

Ronald L. Drollette, 84, of Route 374 in Cadyville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Cadyville on October 14, 1937, the son of the late Louis and Dorothy (Sorrell) Drollette.
Ronald went to Saranac School and in 1955 he joined the USMC, being honorably discharged in 1963, with the rank of Corporal.
He then went to work for GP, Republic Steel, worked Construction, Painting and in 1968 he went to NY State DOT and retired in 1995. Upon retirement he was employed by Norm Baker and Sons for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Drollette (DuBrey), 4 sons;Timothy (Kate), David, Randy ( Lisa), John (Becky), and stepson ; Daniel Stone (Shannon), brother; Lloyd Drollette, and sisters Eileen Latour and Joyce Rule
Also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his father, Louis Drollette, His mother, Dorothy Sorrell Drollette, a son, Michael, daughter in law, Michele Drollette, sisters;Hazel Barber and Betty King, and brothers in law Jack King and Robert Rule.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his side by side thru the woods, loved his tractor and enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and spending time with family.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3 Park Row in Cadyville. A prayer service and military honors will follow at 5:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
