Ronald J. Taylor, Sr.

Ronald J. Taylor Sr., 68, of Champlain passed away on September 22, 2024 at his home. He was born on March 24,1956 the son of George Taylor and Patricia (Liberty) Taylor. Ron was known by so many as “The postmaster”, his CB handle after many years of driving tractor trailer. Ron had an undeniable zest to keep people laughing with his wit and snappy sense of humor. He will be missed beyond measure. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia, his sons Ron Jr. (Kristin) and Travis (Christina), his daughter Brandi (Jamie), and his stepchildren Ashley (Earl), Shandele (Jason), and Jeremy. Four brothers, George (Rita), Gary (Candy), Dennis (Crystal) and Jack (Deborah) and many nieces and nephews. Ron was a proud grandfather to Brennan, Zachary, McKalyie, Trenten, Abigal, MaKenzie, Clay, Dylan, MaKenna, and Maci, as well as a great-grandfather to Bailee. His legacy will live on through them and the countless memories they shared. He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Rick, sister Brenda and great granddaughter Brynlee. At Ron’s request there will be no calling hours. However, there will be a celebration of life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his wife, Patricia or to Hospice of the North Country.
