Rose M Pandozy

Rose Pandozy, 74, of Champlain, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the UVM Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Peekskill, on February 22, 1949 the daughter of John Mason JR and Leila (Cole) Mason.

Rose was a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, went on to become the Commissioner of Clinton County Social Services in Plattsburgh and subsequently The Assistant Commissioner of The Department of Social Services for the State of New York. She developed an expertise in Emergency Services working with FEMA in the private sector. Besides spending time with family, she had a passion for Horses, whether riding, teaching or just watching from a far. She also spent everyday loving her best friend, Johnny, the German Shepard.

She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Vanier and her wife Christina, Grandson Nolan Reid(Girl friend Jordyne Russell), Roses Sister Joan Koenig and many nieces and nephew.

She is predeceased by Parents John and Leila and Brother in Law John Koenig.

Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2023 from 3:00-6:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
