Morrisonville Rosemarie Esposito, 56, of Jan Street, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Friday November 11, 2011 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 26, 1955 the daughter of Anthony and Jean (Franchino) Esposito. Rosie graduated from Saranac High School in 1974, soon after went on to attend SUNY Utica where she graduated with a degree in nursing. Rosie achieved her dream of working in her profession as a nurse in Hawaii and Alaska in the 1980's. She returned to Plattsburgh to work at CVPH Medical Center and then as a Nursing Supervisor for the Clinton County Health Department. Most recently Rosie owned and operated her own day care center at her home. Rosie served on both the ARC and MRS Board of Directors. She was involved in the North Country Down Syndrome Association and received the Wall of Friends, ARC Recognition Award. Rosie also taught religion at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Rosie's crowning achievement was her dedication and devotion to her daughter Katie Jean. Rosie was predeceased by her father, a brother Stephen Esposito and two sisters: Leonora and Elizabeth Esposito. She is survived by a daughter Katie Jean Esposito of Morrisonville, her mother Jean Esposito of Morrisonville, two sisters; Barbara Place of Peru and Cecelia Esposito of Morrisonville, two brothers; Anthony Esposito and his wife Pamela of Morrisonville and Thomas Esposito of Plattsburgh, a sister-in-law Angela "Bunny" Esposito and her husband Rudolph Brouwer of Plattsburgh, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive her. At Rosemarie's request there will be no public calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 22 Dennis Avenue, Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers donations in Rosie's memory may be made to, ARC Foundation or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, C/O Brown Funeral Home.
