Roswell R Fassett Sr

Roswell R. Fassett, Sr., 79, of Dumont Road, West Chazy, NY, passed away on Monday May 28, 2018 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Chazy Lake, NY on September 19, 1938 the son of Arthur and Beatrice (Baker) Fassett. Roswell married Shirley LaTour on November 12, 1960 at St. Joseph's Church in West Chazy. He worked at CVPH Medical Center as a meat cutter in the 1960's, then McGuire Welding, Bibeau Construction, Floyd Sears Construction and lastly Co-owned Beekmantown Auto with his son-in-law. He enjoyed Horse shoes, BINGO, welding, Quick Draw and mostly hanging out with his friends. Roswell was predeceased by his parents, his wife Shirley, his son Roswell, Jr. and a great granddaughter Parker Mae Madison Helmer. He is survived by three children; Gail Rivers and her husband Michael, Judy Neiman and her husband David and Linda Salters and her husband Jack all of Beekmantown, 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive him. A graveside service will be held on Friday June 1, 2018 at 4:00 pm at St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
