Roy "Nippy" Provost

Plattsburgh Roy "Nippy" Provost, 77, of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Thursday December 8, 2016 at his home under the care of Hospice of the North Country with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 16, 1939 the son of Edgar and Lucy (Maurice) Provost. He is survived by his longtime companion Capian Kelley, her children; Sherry Lavigne and Randy (Lisa) Kelley, his children; Debbie (Kenneth) Yelle, Randy (Melody) Provost and Kelley (Benjamin) Abrams, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Monday December 12, 2016 from 10:00 to 12:30 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at1:00 pm at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be next year at St. Joseph's Cemetery in West Chazy.
