Ruby Gladys Davenport

Mrs. Ruby Gladys Davenport, 98, formerly of Russell Barnard Apartments and most recently Evergreen Valley Nursing Home passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at the UVHN-CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on November 13, 1916 the daughter of Garnet Grover and Emily (Davison) Cleveland. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert W. Davenport, her only son Robert G. Davenport and a grandson Kenneth Davenport. She is survived by a daughter-in-law Mildred Davenport of LaVerne, CA, her grandchildren; Steven Davenport and his wife Lynne of Mooers, NY, Donald Davenport and his wife Michele of Santa Ana, CA, Teresa Davenport of LaVerne, CA, Robert M. Davenport and his wife Sheila of West Chazy, NY, a sister Velma Burt Lee of Chateaugay, PQ, four great grandchildren; Savanah Davenport, Cooper Davenport, Tara Davenport Gonyo, Cory Davenport, four great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. At Ruby's request there will be no public calling hours. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Chazy, New York.
