Plattsburgh - Mr. Rudolph C. Archambault, 82, of Plattsburgh NY, died Monday, January 20, 2014, under the care of Hospice of the North Country with his family by his side. He was born May 2, 1931, the son of the late Francis and Rosemary (Conway) Archambault. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict. Rudolph graduated from Plattsburgh State University College with a master's degree and taught for the Ausable Valley School District for 28 years. Rudolph had a love for the New York Giants. Rudolph is predeceased by his parents, a sister Wanda Smith, a brother-in-law Donald Smith and a niece Jeri Smith. Rudolph is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diana (Jenks), his daughters; Debra Mussen and her husband Michael of Keeseville, NY, a daughter Sherry McCabe and her husband Michael of Watertown, NY, a son, James and his partner Alan Jackson of Port Kent, NY, his step-sons; Lance Rebideau and his wife Sue of West Chazy, NY, and Keith Rebideau and his wife Mary Ann of Plattsburgh, NY, his grandsons; Tristan Archambault and John Mussen, his step-grandchildren; Rachel Alexis Rebideau, Ashley Heipel and her husband Brendon, several nieces and nephews and his favorite feline friend Lulu. In accordance with Rudolph's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. Donations can be made to the Elmore SPCA, PO Box 868, Peru, NY or to Hospice of the North Country, 358 Tom Miller Rd., Plattsburgh, NY.
