Russell J Daust

Morrisonville Mr. Russell J. Daust, 80, of the Flat Rock Road, Morrisonville passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 4, 1928 the son of Henry and Evelyn (Duval) Daust. Russell enjoyed playing the accordion, fishing, hunting, photographing nature and teaching his nieces and nephews how to fish. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Evelyn Daust, his wife Beulah Daust, and several siblings. Russell is survived by a brother Robert Daust and his wife Gladys of Morrisonville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. William G. Reamer, Chaplain at CVPH Medical Center officiating. Interment will be at a later date at St. Alexander's Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to his family.
