Russell E Seguin

Russell E Seguin passed away quietly November 18th at the University of Vermont Health Network CVPH under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh NY on April 4, 1931, son of Charles and Genevieve Desautle Seguin of Rouses Point NY. Russell graduated from Rouses Point High School. He served four years in the US Air Force. He became a PE in NY, VT and AK. He worked 32 years at PAFB as an engineer then as the Deputy Civil Engineer. After retirement he formed his own consulting engineering company and worked under contract with CCDOH and the town of Plattsburgh. He also did private consultation for individuals in need of his services. He is survived by; his wife of 61 years Elizabeth (Betty Gerry) Seguin of Morrisonville NY, 8 children, 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 4 great-grandsons and his brother and sister-in-law Gregory and Marge Seguin of Rouses Point, along with several nephews and one niece. At his request there will be no viewing or public service. He has donated his body to UVM for medical research. A family memorial service will be held at their convenience.
