Ruth A Dixon

Plattsburgh Ruth A. Dixon, 71, of Route 22 Plattsburgh, New York passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Dannemora, New York on May 9, 1942 the daughter of Clarence and Hazel (Collins) Rabideau. Ruth was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1466 and served as President of Beekmantown Get-Together Club. She enjoyed playing bingo and playing with her granddaughter Addison. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers; Kenneth and Gerald Rabideau, two sisters; Verna Ayotte and Esther Devins. Ruth is survived by two daughters; Debra LaDieu and her husband Francis LaDieu of Plattsburgh, Donna Dixon-Vosh and her wife Allison Dixon-Vosh of Plattsburgh, her companion Robert Arquette of Beekmantown, two brothers; Oswald Snider of Plattsburgh, Harold Rabideau and his wife Jeannie Rabideau of Crossville, TN, a granddaughter Addison Dixon-Vosh, several nieces and nephews and her canine companion Jed. Calling hours will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Ingraham Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or Hospice of the North Country.
