Sandra Viola Bresette

Sandra V. Bresette, 65, of Mace Chasm Road, Keeseville, NY and formerly of Westville, NY, passed away on Monday October 24, 2011 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Ticonderoga, NY on October 4, 1946 the daughter of Sanford and Viola (Baker) Baker. Sandra graduated from Peru Central School in 1965. She married the love of her life Reginald Bresette on February 17, 1967 at the Peru Community Church. Sandra worked as a Correctional Officer at Bedford Hills and later Franklin Correctional Facility in Malone, NY, retiring in 2004 after 20 years of service. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers; Sanford, Donald and Arthur Baker and a granddaughter Nicole Cohen. Sandra is survived by her husband Reginald Bresette of Keeseville, two children; Lisa Remy and her husband Rich of Peru and Edward Bresette and his wife Jessica of Plattsburgh, four grandchildren; Brittany, Glenn, Krysten and Jenelle. A brother, Jack Baker and his wife Sharon of Morrisville, NY, Darlene Goddeau and her husband Roy of Plattsburgh and Cindy LaPorte and her husband Doug of Jacksonville, NC, a sister-in-law, Pola Baker of Plattsburgh, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Thursday October 27, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
