Sandra L Garrant

Sandra L. Garrant, 77, of Stratton Hill Road West Chazy, NY, passed away on Thursday November 11, 2021 at her home with her family by her side, under the care of Hospice of the North Country. Sandy was born in Plattsburgh on July 24, 1944. She was the daughter of Andrew and Hazel Mae (Bruso) Garrant.
She worked as a nurse’s aide and retired from the Vilas Home in 1999. Sandy enjoyed playing BINGO and going to the casino. She loved to crochet things for her grandkids and spending time with family was her main priority. Brenda, her daughter-in-law, was her main caregiver for the past few years of her life.
Sandy is survived by her two sons, Tim (Brenda) Garrant, and Tony (Stefania) Garrant; grandchildren, John (Danielle) Thew, Amanda Powell, and Steven Baker; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Hunter Lucia, Madison Baker, and Hannah and Hunter Thew. Sandy was predeceased by her father Andrew, and her grandmother Lillian Garrant.
At Sandra's request services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
