Sandra J Gero

Sandra Gero, 69, of Plattsburgh, passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side at CVPH Medical Center on June 26, 2022. She was born June 2, 1953 to Norman and Mildred Baker.

She is survived by her only son and his wife, John and Mandy Fountain Jr. of Saranac, her loving grandchildren, John and Susan Fountain III of AuSable, Brent and Nicole Fountain of Keeseville, Alexis Fountain and her companion Troy Burdick of Plattsburgh, Jasmine fountain, Keegan Fountain and his companion Destiny Booth, Shania Fountain, MaKayla Fountain Leeann Fountain, Ashley Seymore and her companion Josh Warren of Peru, Gabrielle Dandrow of Plattsburgh and her loving great grandchildren, Trinity Fountain, Wyatt Fountain, Abigail Fountain, Caroline Fountain, Elianna Fountain, Bellinger Burdick, Haley Stevens, Lainee Geppner, Kamden Geppner, Laikyn Neyer, Zaery McCoy and three on the way, her pastor and his wife, Dan and Lori Elder of Peru Church of God, her brother Norman Baker and his wife Renee Baker, Leo Kusalonis and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard Gero, her parents, Norman and Mildred Baker, her brothers, John Schwank, Ron Schwank and his wife Ann Schwank, her nephew Brent Baker, her grandmother, Lilian Baker and several aunts and uncles.

She loved going to church and spending time with her family and she was an active member of the Peru Church of God.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. She had a huge heart that touched everyone. She is now our Guardian Angel.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh, Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the West Plattsburgh Union Cemetery.
