Sandra L Sherman

Sandra L. Sherman, 73, of McGaulley Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Monday August 9, 2021, she was born in Plattsburgh on June 26, 1948, the daughter of Thomas and Evelyn (Garney) Kemp.

She grew up in Plattsburgh and had four daughters. She enjoyed reading, drawing and spending time with her grandchildren and her significant other Kenneth Sorrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Evelyn Kemp, Sister and brother-in-law Louis and Bonnie Watts, and brother-in-law Marvin LaGrave.

She is Survived by her sister Deborah LaGrave Mattoon and her husband Jeff Mattoon. Her four daughters Joan Breyette(Paul Breyette), Jody Montanye (Leland Montanye), Tracy Everleth (Mike Caska), Tiffanny Durgan(Gary Durgan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, with one on the way.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 12:00pm.
