Scott M. Goldfarb, 68, of Plattsburgh, passed Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with his loving family by his side. He was born September 8, 1956, the son of Walter and Anna Mae (Cadieux) Goldfarb.
Scott retired from NYS Department of Corrections after 33 years of service. He later retired from driving bus for Plattsburgh City School and Beekmantown School Districts. Scott was an avid New York Giants, Yankees, and Rangers fan. In his spare time he often enjoyed fishing with his sons. Scott enjoyed traveling to warmer destinations with his wife and family. His pride and joy were his granddaughters Olivia and Oaklynn.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cheryl, their children Melissa Fuller and her husband Stephen, Aaron Goldfarb and his wife Sami, and Adam Goldfarb and fiance Marina, his siblings; Steven and Terry (Joanna), sisters-in-law, Bev Robinson and Diane Kappas, brother-in-law Robert Bordeau (Cristina), several nieces and nephews, and his beloved canines Phil, Maddie, Abby, and Ella.
He is predeceased by his parents, his mother-in-law Yvonne (Bulriss), and his sister-in-law, Patti Goldfarb.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be Monday, March 3, 2025 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Victory Church. Graveside prayers will be at a later date in St. Peter's Cemetery. A reception will be announced following Mass.
