Scott H Strack

Scott H. Strack, 44 of Peru Street, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Thursday August 16, 2012 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 9, 1968 the son of Arthur and Carolyn (Lafountain) Strack. He was never afraid to let you know how much he cared. Scott received an Associate in Applied Science Degree from Hudson Valley Community College in 2002. He was employed by G-Tech Corporation for several years as a field service technician level 2, until his health became an issue. Scott always had a love for computers; he would tinker with them for hours on end. He also loved his music. You would often find him sitting in his computer room with Celtic music in the background. He would attend Airborne Speedway on a weekly basis with his race buddy and honorary sister Linda Boyse Strack. Family was his ultimate love. He would come to your house any time day and night for any reason. When asked what he needed in return he would just say "nothing, we're family and that is what family does." Scott was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his parents and his mother-in-law Carol Miller. Scott is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kimberly (Miller) Strack of Plattsburgh, his daughter Brittany Strack and her fiancé James Whitney of Malone, his granddaughter and the apple of his eye Jaylah Whitney, Richard and Darlene Strack of Morrisonville, Michael and Deborah Strack of Plattsburgh, Jonathan and Cindy Strack of Keeseville, Corby and Marta Strack of Plattsburgh, Craig Strack and his companion Jennifer Delarm of Plattsburgh, Theresa Strack and her fiancé Robert Gray of Plattsburgh, his Father-in-law Les Miller of Florida, his Step Mother-in-law Carol Munichiich and her son John Stevenson of Plattsburgh, his Sister-in-law Karen and Paul Karoski of Plattsburgh, his Brother-in-law Steven Miller of Cadyville and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 19, 2012 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 20, 2012 at 11:00 at St. Mary's of the Lake Oratory on Cumberland Head.
